Same old song and dance around here. RL, domestic goddess duties, and work keeps me hopping! Where the heck does the time go? Seems like I look up and a week has gone by. Sheesh!

Someone has asked about them, and I'm working on a small Father's Day icon set, and will hopefully have them posted in the next few days! :)

» The Status of Me

So here's a quick update...

- painted all my kitchen & laundry room cabinets white.
- changed out all the hardware to brushed stainless steel.
- have decided that HGTV is evol, and makes things look way easier than they are in RL.
- working for the family business can be both a blessing & a curse. This week, it was a curse.
- bathed and groomed baby dogs.
- think it's ironically funny that I'm slathering myself with self tanner, while simutaneously whitening my teeth.
- did a wide range of domestic goddess duties
- am still mulling over/absorbing the S3 finale of Lost. O.M.G.
- have been dealing with on and off stomach sickness. Bleh!
- had to cancel lunch & movie outing with [info]angstchic due to stomach illness.
- have plans to attend Dragon*Con with [info]angstchic, and rooming with [info]musing_mia & [info]sandy_s! Yay!!
- am hopelessly behind on the goings on of my dear flist

» Behold My (almost) Success!
I'm slap-dab in the middle of my flooring/carpeting install and it's total chaos! *runs in panicked but limited by space circles* :P

I've got most of my home's furniture *crammed* into my living room, and have spanking new flooring in my kitchen & laundry room. (Yay!) Soooo, now I'm supposed to get carpet installed, tomorrow, into my two guest rooms and guest bath. Then we'll have to cram all my furniture into those rooms & kitchen so they can carpet/floor my living room, master bedroom & bath. I'm loving the new flooring (it's sooooo darn pretty!), but the furniture trainwreck hulking about in my living room is damaging my calm. :P 

Another plus to the new flooring, the baby dogs can get actual traction now! (it's a sandstone texture) They kind of had a hard time with the previous flooring. Lots of skidding and skedaddling. Hee.

I hope everyone had a great Easter. I had a good one, though I spent a great part of it moving stuff around in my house. I wanted to say thank you to [info]feria73for the adorable virtual Easter eggs, and to [info]denimbluesfor the sweet e-card! *hugs*

Well, I guess I'll go back to glaring at my astronomically huge pile of misplaced furniture. ;)
