Captain's log. Stardate 08-01-07....
Week one of grass growing experiment has been sucessful so far. Life form scans indicate sprouts that seem to be really, really short - but healthy. Bones is optimistic that he may not have to say, yet again..."It's dead Jim." Will likely beat the snot out of Bones if he does deliver such sad news.
Have enlisted Spock to go over all growth calculations - for the hundredth time - to insure no surprises. Spock says I'm tense...that instead of growing grass, I should try smoking it to relax. Pfft. Vulcans. Told him his Mama has emotions. Heh.
